Lisa Sweet Garcia an Associate Attorney with Legal Advocates for Indian Country, LLP in the Wagoner office. Ms. Sweet joined the firm as an attorney in 2009 and practices Indian law, family law and criminal law, and provides legal representation to victims of domestic violence. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from East Central University in 2005. Ms. Sweet earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa in May of 2009. While in law school, Ms. Sweet worked with the Boesche Legal Clinic’s Muscogee Creek Nation program, providing legal representation for Muscogee Creek Nation citizens. Ms. Sweet is a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation.
Jennifer Olson, Legal Assistant
Jennifer Olson works in the Wagoner office as a Legal Assistant. She joined the firm in October of 2010 after a few years of taking time out to Coach Womens Basketball. Ms. Olson graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2004 earning a Bachelors of Science with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Busines Administration. Ms. Olson later received her Paralegal degree from Metropolitan College of Legal Studies. Ms. Olson has had four years of legal experience in the areas of bankruptcy, civil, criminal, and family law. Ms. Olson has had experience with many different cultures from traveling and playing overseas, she is eagerly learning more and more about Native American culture and its laws.
